Internal Fly

NEoN Public

Well, perhaps it goes against some of the principles of SuperFly… an indoor exhibition, a limited viewing time, etc… but, this was a ‘special’ occasion… to be honest, we were lucky to be given the opportunity… :)

Anyway, this was the story: NEoN ’09, Dundee’s inaugural Digital Arts Festival took place fom Friday 13 – Sunday 15 Novemebr 2009. A great few days of lectures, workshops and ‘exclusives’ in the home of Scotland’s Gaming Industry hub. So fun was had by all and you can find out more at www.northeastofnorth.com

It was, afterall, the ‘NEoN’ announcement back in February that inspired the birth of SuperFly and so it was fitting that we were given the opportunity to exhibit at NEoN’s public exhibition which featured not only artwork from world class, Dundee born computer games such as Real Time Worlds’ “APB” and Ruffian’s “Crackdown 2″ – both of which featured heavily during the weekend; but also concept artwork by none other than Bud Luckey of PIXAR!
(Who knew we’d peak so soon ;) )

So, SuperFly and Pixar in the same room – probably never to be repeated, so enjoy!

And just in case you’re wondering, we hope to be back very soon to announce the next SuperFly event… so keep it here… and on Twitter (@onthesuperfly)

Thanks BTW to @timmmpryde for the pic above – hopefully more to follow!

Cheerio and toodlepip!
